Castle Sightseeing & Tours:

• Singer Castle--Singer Castle is an architectural treasure of the Thousand Islands. It was built on Dark Island (Chippewa Bay) in 1905 by multi-millionaire Frederick Bourne of the Singer Sewing Machine Company.  The castle was completed, furnished and lived in for 100 years. The granite towers, great rooms, Italian marble fireplaces, secret passages and many of the original furnishings are still there.
